"REMARKABLE PACKAGINGS AND ALTERNATIVES" EXHIBITION @ EMBALLAGE 2012

For the "REMARKABLE PACKAGINGS AND ALTERNATIVES" exhibition within the EMBALLAGE 2012 fair (Paris Nord Villepinte, November 19-22, 2012), five European design schools together with a Canadian school, presented a selection of "remarkable packages" for each country, together with proposals for "remarkable alternatives".


The design schools involved in the exhibition were:
Lahti University of Applied Sciences/Institute of Design (Finland)
Politecnico di Milano/School of design (Italy)
Strate College (France)
Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera/IDIT Instituto de Diseño, Innovación y Tecnología (Spain)
University of Applied Sciences and Arts / FH Hannover (Germany)
UQAM Université du Québec à Montréal/Ecole de Design (Canada)


A jury composed of packaging specialists voted for the most remarkable alternatives proposed by the schools.
Each school presented 6 alternatives. One out of 6 was selected. The jury rewarded 4 projects according to the following criteria such as sustainable development, use, seduction and communication.


Here the 4 selected projects:
1st prize: The tea bag (Germany)
2nd prize: Superga Shoe Box (Italy)
3rd prize: The toothbrush (Canada)
4th prize: Rapala (Finland)
